The hosting module

Hosted outside
China. No ICP.

We take care of every part of it.

Hosting is just where your website lives, the server that hands your pages to whoever visits. For a site built to win Western buyers, that server belongs outside China, close to the people you are selling to.

The paperwork you skip

ICP

No filing, no local entity, no weeks of waiting. An ICP license is only needed for servers inside mainland China.

Host abroad and the entire ICP step falls away.

Why the server sits abroad

A site hosted on a Chinese server loads slowly for someone sitting in Frankfurt or Texas. You will not feel it, because you are inside that border. It is the buyer overseas who ends up staring at a page that will not finish loading.

Traffic leaving China passes through the country's outbound filtering, the system usually called the Great Firewall, which adds delay and dropped connections for anyone pulling the site from abroad. A page like that loses the deal before the first email is ever sent. So we put the site close to the people you are selling to instead, on servers in the United States, in Europe, or wherever your market actually sits.

The part that surprises most clients

The rule turns entirely on where the server sits. An ICP filing or license is only required for sites hosted inside mainland China. A site hosted abroad needs none.

A lot of companies assume that requirement follows them when they go overseas. It does not. More than once we have had a client double-check it with us because it sounds too easy. It is not too easy. It is simply how the rule works.

Documents to file. Local entity to set up. Weeks to wait. Host your Western site outside China and the entire ICP step falls away. Nothing to file, nobody to wait on.

You will need a new domain

And we get it for you.

For the overseas site you will want an address separate from your Chinese domain. A .com is usually the right call, because Western buyers know it and trust it on sight. Picking the name is not just a matter of taste, and we have a clear way through it.

  • If a competitor owns the .com The name is dead. We move on.
  • If someone unrelated holds it We weigh a strong .ai, .io or .co.
  • If the .com is available That is the clean path.

Once a name is settled, we buy and register it on your behalf. You own it outright. We deal with the registrar and the setup so you never have to.

Where the site actually lives

The same cloud the big Western companies rely on.

Names like Google Cloud and Vercel. This is not about fashion. Cloud hosting is genuinely fast and it stays online, and the part that matters most for a growing company is that it scales on its own when a wave of traffic arrives. None of it is yours to choose or manage. We handle the whole chain.

Register the domain

We buy and register your new .com on your behalf. You own it outright. We deal with the registrar and the setup so you never have to.

Stand up the hosting

Cloud hosting sized to your traffic and budget, with servers in your target region outside China, close to the buyers you are selling to.

Secure and certify

The safe-browsing certificate is handled and kept current as part of the setup, on top of the serious security the platforms bring of their own.

Keep it fast and online

We point the domain at the site and keep it quick after launch. It scales on its own when a wave of traffic arrives, so the site does not buckle.

A word on cost

A modest monthly cost, not a big one-time bill.

Hosting scales with your traffic and the kind of site. A marketing site costs very little to host, often only a few hundred RMB a month once everything is running. A busy online store on cloud infrastructure costs more, because it is doing far more work. We fold the real numbers into your proposal so nothing arrives as a surprise later.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

What does hosting cost?

A modest monthly figure, scaled to your traffic and site type. A marketing site is cheap to host, often a few hundred RMB a month. A busy store costs more. Real numbers go in your proposal.

What is hosting, in plain terms?

It is where your website lives, the server that delivers your pages to visitors. Good hosting is what makes a site fast and reliable.

So we really do not need an ICP license?

Correct, as long as the site is hosted abroad. ICP only applies to servers inside mainland China. Yours sits outside it, so the requirement never touches you.

Why is a China-hosted site so slow for our buyers?

Traffic crossing out of China passes through the Great Firewall, which adds delay for anyone abroad. The site feels fine to you at home and slow to them. Hosting abroad fixes it.

Can we keep our existing Chinese domain?

You will want a separate one for the overseas site. We help you choose it and register it for you.

What if the .com we want is taken?

It depends on who holds it. If a competitor owns it, we treat the name as dead. If it is someone unrelated, we look at strong alternatives like .ai or .io. We will tell you honestly which way to go.

Who actually buys the domain?

We do, on your behalf, and you own it. We handle every bit of the setup.

Where exactly will the site be hosted?

On trusted cloud platforms such as Google Cloud or Vercel, in Western regions close to your buyers.

What is cloud hosting, in simple terms?

Hosting on large, reliable platforms that grow with your traffic and come with strong security built in. Your site stays fast and online even when a lot of people show up at once.

Is it secure?

Yes. The platforms bring serious security of their own, and we keep the site and its safe-browsing certificate current on top of that.

What if our traffic suddenly spikes, say after a trade show?

Cloud hosting absorbs it. The site stays fast through a big jump, with no scramble and no rebuild on your side.

Do we have to manage any of the server side?

None of it. We set it all up and keep it running, and you will never log into a server or see one.

Will customers back in China still be able to reach the site?

They can, though it will load slower there since the server sits abroad. That is a fair trade, because this site exists to win Western buyers, not to serve the home market.

Can you host an online store as well as a marketing site?

Yes. A store needs a bit more hosting muscle, and we size it to the platform, whether that is Shopify or a Saleor build.

What happens if the site goes down?

We watch it and move quickly when something breaks. Cloud hosting is built to stay up, and the monitoring means we usually catch a problem before you would.

The day-to-day upkeep after launch, the monitoring and updates, lives on the maintenance and support page. The technology the site is built from is covered under technology.

Hands off

Never touch a server.

We will handle your hosting and your domain together, start to finish, without you ever needing to log in to anything.

We pick up in your market's time zone.
